Can you make a participant a co owner

I am currently a participant on my wife’s account but want to move to being a co owner. How do I go about this?

You must leave being a participant first. Then your wife needs to invite you to be a co-owner. When you receive the invitation, accept it and request a new physical card.

Next make sure both iPhones are updated to iOS 17.3.1. Not updating iPhones first can create issues.

If behind a VPN, turn it off. Both parties need to physically be in the US. Once you’re set, remove yourself as a participant. Restart your iPhone, then have your wife invite you. Accept the invitation and you’ll be all set.
