Wallpaper choices keep resetting to default after restart

My wallpaper choices continually reset to defaults after restart. I am running OS Ventura 13.6.4.

I have read old posts about this problem. Does anyone have current suggestions to permanently eliminate this annoyance? I had no problem prior to most recent Ventura updates.

Unable to change Wallpaper settings in Venture 13.5.1 I have had this problem for about 6 months now. iMac 24, plus external Dell monitor. I set up the wallpaper in Settings, ask it to change every 5 minutes, it does not change. This morning there was a full update of the OS, and now I cannot get the Wallpaper to change at all. Desktop wallpaper on iMac with Ventura 13.3.1 does not load correctly When I start my iMac with Ventura 13.3.1 my custom wallpaper does not load correctly and requires a reset in system setting /Wallpaper and although the setting is "Fit to Screen" the image is not displayed correctly ( looks more like fit to screen) I reset it to "Fill Screen" then back to "Fit to Screen" and its fine. I know this is only a small thing but its really irritating when things don't work the way they should. Is this an issue with Ventura or am I missing something in the settings?
