Will apple add native support for Colemak DH Mod keyboard layout?

Currently MacOS has keyboard support for Colemak ready to go in system preferences -> keyboard -> input sources -> English.

I am considering learning a new key layout for a number of reasons (including rsi). This is a major undertaking for my well worn brain and fingers. I see that Colemak DH mod has better reviews in the community and seems to me like better choice to learn if starting from scratch.

I found that it is possible to add custom layouts like these. That is fine for my personal machine. But... if I'm at work and handed a colleagues laptop, I'm not going to "git clone" this file, add to their user settings, restart their computer just to be able to type a few things in a meeting. It does look like I could easily switch to standard "colemak" in a few seconds as it is preloaded in MacOS.

So, having this additional colemak DH mod input layout natively available in MacOs would solve that fear of not being able to type on another mac. I see that there are 4 different variations of Dvorak... how do we get Apple to also add this additional (and popular... relatively) variation of Colemak?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.3
