AirPods keep disconnecting while playing Youtube videos

I recently acquired a new pair of AirPods and like to use them when watching YouTube videos but have encountered a problem ! After I connect them and watch a video and proceed to watch another video I find that they have disconnected and I have to reconnect to watch the next video. This happens with each video and is very frustrating !

I have an old pair of AirPods that I’ve never had this problem with !
