When I log in to Appletv on Macbook it doesnt let me. I'm trying to cast from Macbook to chromecast and it doesnt work

Apple’s own apps do not support Chromecast streaming. Instead they support a different protocol: AirPlay, which needs an AirPlay-compatible receiving device.
Users may stream using AirPlay to an Apple TV box, to a modern Mac, or to select third party devices:

Depending on the age and model of your TV, you may also want to check if it supports the Apple TV app natively, or else connect a HDMI streaming device to the TV that supports the Apple TV app.
