zoom and chrome update on macbook
I get a notification that zoom needs to be updated but it fails every time. And I just got a notification that chrome can't update. This is a macbook air m2 2022.

Is macOS completely up to date with all its update patches?
Are you running any anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, or third party security software? If so, then uninstall them by following the developer's instructions. None of these types of apps are needed on a Mac and will usually cause more problems than they solve since they interfere with the normal operation of macOS.
Try booting into Safe Mode to see if that allows those apps to be updated. If those apps can be updated while booted into Safe Mode, then it usually means that some third party software is causing the problem.
