When my series 9 watch is charged overnight using magnetic button charger that came with watch it only charges to 80% range. When new would charge to 100% using same method. Watch only about 2 months old.

No not on low power mode. I guess watch has battery optimization mode that learns how frequently you charge and for how long. Only charging to 80% or so supposedly lengthens life of rechargeable battery. This was from a response from Apple technician I think. Thanks for your response
