Issues with notification on my iPad

I can’t get three … in notifications to work. Nothing happens when I press on them ( on iPad) so I can’t stop comments on posts I don’t want to see anymore. Use to be able to “ stop notifications “

If you're experiencing issues with notifications on your iPad Air 3 running iPadOS 17, and tapping on notifications does not bring up the option to stop notifications, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Restart Your iPad: Sometimes, restarting your device can resolve minor software glitches. Press and hold the Power button until the power-off slider appears. Slide to power off, wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Power button again until the Apple logo appears.

2. Check Notification Settings: Ensure that notifications for the specific app or posts are enabled in your iPad's settings. Go to Settings > Notifications, then scroll down to find the app in question. Make sure notifications are allowed and configured as desired.

3. Update the App: Make sure the app you're experiencing issues with is updated to the latest version. Open the App Store, go to the "Updates" tab, and check if there are any updates available for the app. If so, install the update and check if the issue persists.

4. Reset Notification Permissions: If notifications are enabled but still not working properly, you can reset notification permissions for the app. Go to Settings > Notifications, find the app, and toggle off the "Allow Notifications" option. Then, toggle it back on and see if that resolves the issue.

5. Reinstall the App: If the issue persists, you can try deleting the app and reinstalling it from the App Store. This can sometimes resolve software-related issues with apps.

6. Contact App Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may want to reach out to the app's developer for further assistance. They may be able to provide specific troubleshooting steps or insights into the issue.

If you've tried these steps and are still unable to stop notifications for posts you don't want to see, it's possible that there may be a bug or compatibility issue with the app or iPadOS 17. In that case, you may need to wait for a software update from either Apple or the app developer to address the issue.
