I recently got a new phone. Many of the songs and complete albums that I have bought over the years (some more than 10 years ago) are missing. Per the threads in this forum, I went to purchased items, but when I go into iTunes, they do not show as purchased. How do I get access to songs I’ve already bought through iTunes but iTunes isn’t showing purchased?

See if they are hidden. Go to the iTunes Store and scroll up to the bottom, tap and sign in to your Apple ID and look for hidden purchases. If you have an Apple Music sub they may show as hidden in the Music app itself under Account Settings which is accessed via your profile. Also see Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support if you have a Mac.
