Unable to download iTunes for MacBook with macOS Monterey.

I would like to download iTunes but cannot find any compatible version with my mac. It is Mac version 12.7.3 and says it is completely up to date with software but I can't find any versions of iTunes that support it

Since macOS Catalina, iTunes was split into 3 individual apps: Music, Podcasts & TV, If you want to restore a device like you used to do in macOS Mojave, connect the iDevice & open Finder & click on the device name on the sidebar & a similar interface to iTunes will appear.

Is there a way around needing iTunes to get into a locked iPad with this current software?

In addition to Music, TV and Podcasts, as dialabrain mentioned, other functions that used to be ascribed to iTunes, like managing files, syncing etc are now handled by Finder (as they should be).

When you connect an iPad, it will appear in Finder window Sidebar. Select it and you get the interface for managing it.
