You Tube Music on Apple Watch Cellular

Hi could you please confirm whether Apple watch in cellular mode (without the phone being nearby) play the YouTube Music? I am unable to play. It plays when the phone is nearby, need this function to leave the watch behind, other functions such as calling fine.

Does You Tube music work on a cellular Apple Watch 9? I've spent hours trying to make YouTube music work on my new Apple Cellular watch 9. It worked fine on my non-cellular Watch 4 with me carrying my phone around. Finally, I turned off my phone, turned off WiFi and tried my old Apple Music library and it worked like a charm.
