MacBook Pro running Sonoma seeing Printer as paused

My Dell color MFP E325w prints fine from my MacOS devices and prints from my older Macs not running Sonoma. My new MacBook Pro with the M3 chip running Sonoma 14.2.1 reports the printer as paused. This happens for all apps that I have tried (word, preview, acrobat.)

Printer cannot be unpaused on MacBook Pro I'm trying to print to my HP Color LaserJet M252dw printer from my MacBook Pro. The printer queue is paused and will not unpause. I've reset the printing system, rebooted both the Mac and printer with no luck. It does this in any application (printing a test page, PDF, Word doc,etc). Printer Paused Only on Mac My MacBook Air will not print any documents to my newly installed printer. I installed a new printer and connected it to the wifi. I have four computers connected to the network and they all print except my MacBook Air. The other three run Windows. I can also print from my iPhone. The printer is the same make and model as my last printer, which I was able to print to from my MacBook Air. Every time I print a document - simple Word document or PDF - the printer pauses instantly. If I then print from another computer it prints from the other computer but my Mac still says the printer is paused. MacBook Air is running Sonoma 14.4.1 The printer is HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 I have uninstalled, shut down and reinstalled. I have tried other things from the internet but nothing works. I love Apple products but this is beyond frustrating. I need to print to work. Why has Apple made this so difficult? Does anyone have any suggestions that a non-computer expert can try to get this MacBook Air to print like a normal computer?

I am now using adobe to open stuff but it is extra steps that add up to a lot of lost time. Printing to new HP printer 5100. Any help would be appreciated because I use this simple command all day every day for what I do. Thanks in advance for any help.
