Vertical lines when rear camera zoomed in

My iPhone 15 Pro has vertical lines on camera app when zoomed in x3 or more. This issue only appears on photo, pano, portrait and time lapse, as well as on Instagram. The issue does not persist when using video settings on camera app, nor on Snapchat camera, so I believe it is a software issue rather than hardware. I have updated to latest iOS and turned the phone on/off multiple times but those did not seem to fix the problem. I am thinking to take it into store if I cannot find a solution online, but has anyone else experienced this?
