saving a photos album to .pdf

I have created a photos slideshow and want to share it as a pdf so I can email it to friends. When I click on the album, then click on export, the Slideshow option is greyed out. Now what?

A pdf file is a printing thing-- so print. Select all the pictures you want to send, choose print (command-P), then choose Contact Sheet. You can then make choices about number of columns and text to include. Then tap Print, and go to the pull down menu on the left of the print dialog and choose "Save as PDF..." You'll get to tell it what folder to use. Then you can attach the pdf file in Mail.

The Contact Sheet is one of the coolest things in Photos! I just sent my brother a 100 page pdf of 2000 pictures I'd scanned from family albums with titles a captions. Pretty cool!
