Several devices have the same Apple ID

My iPhone, my wife's iPhone, and our iPad all have the same Apple ID. We get each other's phone calls, and calendar alerts, etc. Is there a way to have a separate Apple ID for each device?

Since we got the devices years apart, I believe I just used the first Apple ID for each one, but I don't remember having to set each device up.
