I understand that you are referring to the passcode that is used to get to the Home Screen of your iPhone. You will have to reset the passcode to your iPhone by following the instructions in this guide published by Apple 👉 Reset the Passcode of your iPhone (Without a Computer) Note: All the data on your iPhone will be erased.

Hopefully, you have a backup created on 👉 iCloud and/or on a computer. If you do then, you can 👉 Restore your iPhone from the backup file once your passcode has been reset and the iPhone has been returned to factory settings by the procedure in the link above.

Unfortunately, you are going to be locked out for much more than an hour if you can't recall your passcode. Did you perhaps write it down and put it in a safe place when you set it up?

The phone is going to go into a complete lockout if you cannot enter the correct passcode soon.

At that point, you must reset / erase the phone and set it up again. Here are the instructions for that:

If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support

If you don't have a Mac or PC, you can try to use the instructions in this Apple Support document:

If you see an iPhone or iPad unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support

Once the phone has been reset, you can reload your recent backup to the phone, so it will look like it did before you forgot the passcode.

It might be a good idea to write the new passcode and keep it in a safe place......even if you feel sure that you will never forget it.
