Restored iCloud contacts are not appearing

That is not at all relevant to the issue at hand. iCloud doesn't store contacts on the SIM. In fact iPhones aren't even capable of storing contacts on a SIM. The only time you would find contacts there is if the physical SIM had been transferred from another non-iPhone device.

Contacts sync to email accounts, so if you have a disabled email account or have recently removed one the contacts that sync to it will disappear. while contacts can sync to iCloud, that isn’t the only place that contacts come from.

Hello ~ Take it a a compliment that *IdrisSeabright* is helping you as they did for me when I started and still do by the way. No one is being aggressive…except maybe you. One thing that must remain paramount is being sure that what we post is as correct as possible for the Author’s sake. Remain calm as no one is against someone that is willing to help here.
