How do I remove Microsoft Error Reporting 2.2?
I can't find this app to delete it. Searching the hard drive comes up with nothing. There's no launcher icon. There's nothing in Applications.
I'm running macOS 14.2.1

I was able to find the newer versions of "Microsoft Error Reporting.app" using the free app called "Find Any File". You could probably locate this older version, "Microsoft Error Reporting 2.2.app" by using it then delete that version of 2.2.

I found five instances of the app inside the package contents of each app I have installed.
Right click on the Word app->Select Show package Contents->Contents->SharedSupport. There it is version 16.82. Check each Microsoft app you have installed for the file and make sure it has been updated.

That icon doesn't mean the file doesn't exist, it means the app is not compatible with the current version of macOS.
In my opinion that file no longer exists on your installation and is a glitch in the Microsoft updater app. Using a similar app called EasyFind I found instances of the current version of Microsoft Error Reporting app within seconds. All had been updated yesterday.
If you look at your screenshot you see that app’s icon with the circle/slash, meaning the file no longer exists. If you can’t find any references then you may be at the point of having to reinstall Office.
Unfortunately there is no file that contains those words that I can find on my hard drive anywhere.

If has been written - the Cycle with Bar through the icon would mean the files does not exist
At least that is how it worked when downloading the Full Version of Sonoma 14.3.1 via Terminal
The Launched the Install Sonoma successfully
Upon reboot >> Launched and there was the icon " install Sonoma "
Clicked on it and nothing
Look again the the Circle with Bar though it was there
As for Microsoft Applications on macOS - that would be a MS Windows issue IMHO
Good work there and keep it up 😎
