How to replace old tip with new one in Apple Pencil?

My Apple Pencil tip has a nick on the end. Probably a stupid question, but how do you take the old tip off so you can put on a new one?

Assuming that you are holding the body of the Pencil in your left hand, you will need to tightly grasp the tip of the pencil with the fingers of your right-hand; gently unscrew the tip anti-clockwise.

You may find the tip easier to grasp if you use a thin sheet of rubber (or similar) material. Be careful to avoid sideways pressure on the tip of the pencil - as you might damage the tiny metal transducer that is located beneath the plastic pencil tip.

When replacing the tip, screw the tip firmly into place, but do not over-tighten. When refitted, you should seen a tiny gap of about the thickness of a sheet of paper between the body of the Pencil and the fitted tip.
