FaceTime call history on iPad shows calls to and from my iPhone

Hi,

Since the new iOS 17 version, my regular phone calls on my iPhone end up in my FaceTime history on my iPad.

I saw another similar question suggesting to deactivate the iCloud Drive option but my option is already turn OFF and despite that, my regular calls are displayed from my FaceTime calls only on my iPad.

I'd like to know what the fix is to only see my FaceTime call history as before and not my regular voice calls made on my iPhone

Best Regards,

Alexis

Recents now combines FaceTime and cellular calls. You can go to Settings/Phone on the iPhone, Calls on other devices, and remove your iPad from the setting. You will then not be able to make or receive cellular calls from the iPad, however.

Hello Lawrence,

Thanks for the tip, but despite the fact that I unchecked the Calls on other devices option on my iPhone, the history is still uploaded to my Facetime app history on the iPad.

It's a behavior that wasn't there before IOS 17... I'm really up against a wall concerning this problem... nothing seems to stop it...

I tried to reboot the 2 devices, delete the current history but despite everything with the OFF option the voice calls I made kept showing up in the FaceTime Apps on the iPad.
