How do i convert .heic docs to .pdf on a MacBook Air ios version 12.7.3?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.7

Open the file in Apple Preview.

Choose "Export as PDF" in the File menu.

Right-click on the .heic image and from the secondary Finder menu, select Quick Actions > Create PDF. That will write a PDF in the same location as the selected .heic image.

Tested on macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 and should also work on Monterey.
