Can’t add US BANK card debit bank card to Apple Pay

I have been trying to add my US BANK DEBIT BANK CARD to Apple Pay. I am using an iPhone 12 and it won’t work. I used to have this cards available on my iPhone 7 Plus and my other iPhone 12. Please advise how to add these on as I need them I use them often for payment and they are my main bank cards.

Have you tried logging out of Apple ID?


Do you use a VPN?


Are your cards on any other devices or associated with another Apple ID (spouse etc.)?


Is your iPhone updated to latest version of iOS?


Have you tried a forced restart (not just turning iPhone off and back on)?


Are you using public beta version of iOS?


Are you currently in US or have you traveled overseas recently?


Is your iPhone Region set correctly?


Is your Apple ID Region set correctly?


Have you deleted the Wallet app on your iPhone?


Is the US Bank app on your iPhone and are you logged into the account?


Have you reset Network settings?


Have you reset all settings?


The next step after the last above, is to do an erase of the iPhone and then try adding a card. This can be pretty inconvenient, so that’s a last resort, but would confirm that it is a bank issues and not your iPhone or Apple’s.

My daughter has the same cards I do, I did this on my iPhone 7 as well and had no issues it’s just when I transferred to the iPhone 12 the cards cannot be added.

im not sure what a public beta version is but I don’t believe I’m using that.

Yes I’m currently in the US I have not traveled anywhere overseas.


Is your iPhone Region set correctly?

Yes


Have you deleted the Wallet app on your iPhone?

Yes


Is the US Bank app on your iPhone and are you logged into the account?

Yes the us bank app is on my phone and I have logged myself out and logged back in.


Have you reset Network settings?

Yes


Have you reset all settings?

How/ what does that affect to do that?

I explained to the bank that error message I was getting and they checked on my account to see if there was any holds or any blocks. They confirmed with me that there is nothing wrong on their end and they gave me a phone number to contact Apple regarding this. I spoke with Apple and Apple said that it’s the CARD issuer who I need to speak with which I already did and they directed me to Apple. Anyhow, Apple cannot help me because they are not the issuer of that card. So I am still stuck in limbo because no one is able to help me and I see other iPhone users had the same question and they did not get answers to it either. But as I stated, I need these cards to be on my Apple Pay because I use them a lot and I don’t usually have the tangible card with me.

Reset all settings is a reset of all iPhone settings to factory defaults. It does not delete any data such as photos, music or apps and their data.

This step basically confirms that it’s a bank issue.


Just curious, how many times have you tried adding the card in the last 7 days?

It says cannot add card, contact bank issuer. I did contact us bank they told me to contact apple. I have been being ping ponged back and forth and made many numerous phone calls and it still has not be able to be added by anyone. It’s very frustrating and I need my cards. So if you could please shed some light because I’m not making anymore phone calls to my bank or apple that doesn’t work everyone says the issue is not on their end, but a block is obviously coming from somewhere that’s why I cannot add it! My daughter has the iPhone 13 and she could add the same us bank cards to hers no problem.
