How to update iOS on my iPhone?

I have been struggling to update my software it says I’m out of space but I always free space on my phone and upgrade storage but there’s no difference

iCloud storage is NOT the same as PHONE (physical) storage, which is what you need in order to update. You might need to delete apps or (usually) photos. You should offload the photos to a permanent storage device or on the cloud.
