Using iPods after ITunes discontinued

How will I be able to use my iPod Classic after iTunes is discontinued? Is there software I can load onto it to continue using the device? I do not need iTunes on my PC, I use my iPod in the car.

I don't see an option of Apple Music for iPods.

Thanks

I believe the replacement for iTunes for Windows is already available from the Microsoft Store. It's called Apple Devices and is used to manage iPods from a Windows PC.

I'm not in a rush to install it.

Apple Music is the subscription service. An iPod uses the Music app to play your music on the iPod, not "Apple Music".

To be clear (hopefully) there has never been an "iTunes" for iPods, so whatever replaces iTunes is for the computer, not the iPod.
