I am thinking of buying a refurbished iphone 15 and am wondering how difficult it will be to have it activated with t-mobile.

If you’re buying a refurbished phone directly from Apple, it should be as simple as putting your SIM card in it and activating it. If you’re buying it from somewhere else… don’t.
If you buy a Certified Refurbished iPhone directly from Apple, I believe you get
If you buy a refurbished phone from anywhere else, the refurbishment process may not be nearly as thorough, and it's very unlikely that you will get a new battery or a one-year warranty.
