Why did Siri get so bad? Would downgrading the iOS help?

It can no longer answer simple questions, or offers bizarre responses.

I’ve almost been killed while driving due to Maps failing to work/respond properly. Constantly giving wrong directions to contact addresses, even though postal codes are in.

Sorry, I didn’t get that, I don’t know how to respond to that, I’m having trouble connecting, you will need to unlock your iPhone first are infuriating standard responses to basic questions that used to work without issue.

I have just about given up on Siri at this point. Can I get the old Siri back from 10 years ago by downgrading?
