installing camera on desktop
How do I install the camera on my desktop. I have looked but cannot find a camera icon in the App section.

There is no "camera application" on the iMac, other than Photo Booth and FaceTime.
The camera on the iMac is accessed by these apps and any others that require it AND that you give permission to use it. These app include FaceTime, Photo Booth, Zoom and others.
