Is it possible to erase an object from a photo using iPhotos on my iPhone?

I added some pictures over the years and have tried using the Markup feature to edit them in the past but was never able to get the eraser function to remove an object from either a screenshot or saved picture. Is this possible using iPhotos on my iPhone 12?
