PSD Files are the Wrong Size in Drop Zones

Hi guys! I have been using Final Cut Pro in tandem with Motion to create templates for which I can insert still images, as PSD files, into Final Cut Pro Generator Templates made in Motion. However, while some of these PSD files insert in the correct size into the drop zones, others appear much too big in the same drop zones.

For example, these if I try to put these two images below into drop zones, one appears as the correct size but the other appears to be too big in the same drop zone.

When I insert this image into the drop zone, it appears correctly sized as shown:

However, a very similar PSD File with only one layer less (the logo on top) does not fit correctly into the drop zone template.

I would be very grateful if someone had a solution to this. I understand I could technically use PNG files as an easy solution but I would prefer to be able to use the PSD files as they are more versatile file types for what I'm using them for. Thanks!
