i did what i found on the apple support website and i removed my payment method but i do not have any other payment methods so i wanted to add back the old one and i couldn’t it keeps saying you need to update it

When you re-enter the card data please use a 4 digit number for the expiration year in the following format, MM/YYYY
What error message do you receive when attempting to add your payment method?
i did use the 4 digits and it still didnt work all my data was correct and its still not working
they say this (Cannot Verify Payment Information. Contact Apple Support for more information.) in red even tho everything is correct and updated to the latest
i used the informations that you gave me and now i cant add back my payment method
