I bought my iPad Air 5th generation, but it’s space gray and I want it to be purple but when I got my iPad they only had grey in stock so is there a way that I can trade my iPad in and get a purple iPad Air or the blue one ? Because gray is very cute and I’m very thankful , but it’s pretty plan .

If purchased directly from Apple, in most countries/regions you have 14-days within which you can return an undamaged item for exchange or refund. Beyond 14-days this option is lost.
As for trade-in, Apple doesn't accept current/most-recent models for its trade-in program. In such circumstances, you would be best advised to sell privately - although you should recognise that you are unlikely to recover what you paid for your iPad.
Also be aware that where your iPad qualifies for trade-in, it will be valued at considerably less than the purchase price.
