No "Sort By" Date Added for Smart Playlists

Hello, Community.

I've created a smart playlist on apply music on my macbook pro to include all the songs I've added to my library from the last 6 months. On my iphone, the playlist displays songs correctly, from most recently added, down to the oldest added within that time frame. However, on the music app on my macbook, the songs are in a completely different order, the Sort Option states "Playlist Order" but I have no idea what that playlist order is lol and it is certainly not in the date added order. And there is no option to sort that way.

Is this just a function that apple has missed? A flaw in coding? Or am I just missing something all together?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.4

Josh,

Date Added is not one of the options on the dropdown for Sort By. But you can still do it. Put the playlist in Songs view, and make sure Date Added is one of the columns. Click at the top of that column and the list will sort accordingly. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending.
