I understand you're having trouble connecting to the App Store and Safari is giving you a "secure connection" error. This can be frustrating, but there are a few things we can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Connectivity:

  • Check your internet connection: Make sure your device is connected to the internet with a strong signal. Try opening other websites in Safari to confirm. If you're on Wi-Fi, try restarting your router. If you're using cellular data, make sure it's enabled and has a good signal.
  • Date and Time: Ensure your device's date and time settings are accurate.Incorrect settings can interfere with secure connections.

App Store:

  • Check for updates: Update your device's operating system to the latest version. This often includes bug fixes and security updates that can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Sign out and Sign in: Sign out of your Apple ID from the App Store app and then sign back in. This can sometimes refresh your connection.
  • Check App Store status: Visit Apple's System Status page (Apple - Support - System Status) to see if there are any reported issues with the App Store.

Safari:

  • Clear browsing data: Try clearing your browser cache, cookies, and history. This can sometimes resolve issues caused by outdated data.
  • Check extensions: Temporarily disable any extensions you have installed in Safari. Some extensions can interfere with website connections.
  • Try a different browser: If the issue persists in Safari, try using a different browser like Chrome or Firefox to see if you can connect to the App Store.

Additional Tips:

  • Restart your device: Sometimes a simple restart can fix temporary glitches.

  • Contact Apple Support: If none of the above suggestions work, you can contact Apple Support for further assistance. They may have more specific information about the issue you're facing.

Remember, I cannot diagnose the exact cause of the problem without more information. However, by following these steps, you can hopefully get back to using the App Store and Safari normally.
