Hello kip99k2, for this task I could recommend you several tools, which I will leave you in the following list:

• Final Cut, but licensing is relatively expensive.
• CapCut, easy to use, automatic subtitles and much more.
• iMovie, the truth is that this tool is so basic that I would not recommend it, to do things that should be easy here are more complex.

Of these three, I would personally recommend CapCut because of its ease of use and what it offers for free.

The easiest way to edit is with the free iMovie application.

It seems that you are unfamiliar with it.
