New Folder: Unable to Upload

I don't know why or when this occurred, but a new Folder has appeared automatically in my Photos Library. It has the iCloud symbol in front of it and the folder is entitled: Unable to Upload. When I open the folder it says there are 261 photos and 21 Videos which iCloud apparently could not load. Thumbnail images can be seen when I open the folder, and I recognize them, but many are simply greyed out entirely... without titles. I have plenty of space in iCloud, so why were these images unable to load?? The only thing I recall doing recently is syncing my iMac and iPhone (although I honestly don't recall doing it myself). I also recently updated my software to Sonoma 14 (but likely months ago).

So.... how do I get all photos/videos/screenshots out of the Unable to Upload folder?? I don't want to lose them.

Thanks, muguy. So you're saying these images/videos were simply not saved to iCloud, but likely continue to exist in Photos? I can live with that ...it's just that many of the 'grayed out' ones no longer show their titles or keywords, making it hard to check their current existence elsewhere. Grrr. Perhaps Time Machine saved them. As for the images I CAN see in the Unable to Upload folder, I fear deleting them until I can confirm that all 261 images still exist within Photos. It's gonna take time to do that Hopefully this won't happen again. Wishing I never synced my iMac and iPhone. Your help is immensely appreciated.
