It appears that, after many years of flexibility in Logic Pro, the MAIN WINDOW minimum size is now set at 50% of your screen size. I have no idea why they have introduced this limitation as all other windows can reduce to about 20% of the screen. Any thoughts?

I'm not able to duplicate your issue. The main window on mine reduces to about 20%. I'm using Logic 10.8.1 and Ventura 16.6.4. W
Thanks for the pic. For me, the bottom of Logic will not go any higher than just below the faders, just like your picture. And I tried it on an old 10.5 version of Logic and it is the same. So if yours use to go further up the screen, try changing the resolution of your monitor. If you recently changed from 1440 to 1080p, Logic will take up more space on the monitor.
Thanks for the reply. TBH, it's not a huge deal for me. It's just surprising that ALL other windows can be reduced to around 20% but the Main window cannot. I've been a Logic Pro user since it's early days as Creator on the Atari ST in the late 80's and what I really liked about Logic over the last few decades was it's GUI flexibility. Ah well, not a deal breaker ;-)
My guess is that Logic’s main window wants at least the bottom of the volume faders to be visible. Maybe closing the little triangle at the top where it says Region Midi Defaults will shrink the window even more.
Upgraded to LP 10.8.1 and Ventura 13.6.4 - still the same problem - cannot reduce window size of Main Window in Logic Pro vertically (top to bottom) to less than 50%...
