Just got a new to me computer. Mac OS Monterey and I can’t pair the wireless keyboard because I have to enter the password first to get to settings, and since the keyboard is not paired, it will not enter the password. What the heck do I do?

If this is an Apple Bluetooth keyboard, then you can plug it into the Mac using a USB to Lightning cable, and then it is just a USB attached keyboard. The same with an Apple Magic Trackpad.
