iMac 24inch M1 Screen Defect First time experience my iMac 24inch M1 screen with horizontal line (flicking). I bought the device in April 2022. Just less than 4years. Really frustrated and disappointed as all my apple devices can last more than 6years than above. My MacBook Pro 13" 2017 still working good. Check with 3rd parties and read many post, majority commented as manufacture defects. Hope Apple can advise and able to have a replacement programme on this defects.

Faulty display backlight Hey! I have a Macbook Pro 13 from 2020 with the M1. The backlight of the display has stopped working and I am about to send it for repair. When I first spoke to support I though the screen has stopped working completely so I was quoted 679€ for the repair of a cracked screen. I’m just wondering if repairing the backlight will involve replacing the whole screen or if it can be fixed without having to do so. Thanks!
