Why does Apple have to have new cords whenever I buy an updated phone or laptop? Just to drive me up the wall???

I bought a new iPhone 15 and NATURALLY it doesn't use the OLD cord because????? Apple just wants to make my life all the more crazy???

Technology changes. iPhones are no different. Most, if not all, newer consumer electronics have moved on to using USB-C ports. Just like vinyl records, Beta tapes, 8-tracks, & even CDs, manufacturers are not required to maintain these standards. Besides, we as consumers, demand that they keep providing us with "better and better" stuff ... so yes, they want to oblige us.

Regardless, Apple did provide you with "What comes in the box" if you ordered your new iPhone 15 from their online store.
