I have a Mac Studio 2023 connected to the Apple Studio Display. Night Shift doesn't work automatically unless the settings are defined. But when I connect my MacBook Pro to the Studio Display, the Night Shift mode works properly.

Yes, they both running the latest version.
This is exactly what I did (Night Shift settings). The funny thing is that at sunset the OS automatically switches to the dark mode, but without turning on the night shift.
