That feature, Prevent Lock Button to End Call, is available on iOS versions 16 and 17. You have an iPhone 6s with iOS version 15 installed on it. That feature is not available with iOS 15.

What conflicting Accessibility settings might you have established that affect the side button’s behavior?

Then I don’t know either.

By the way, the setting is called “Prevent Lock to End Call”, not “lock button ends call”.
