Screen Recording will fail to save if you attempt to share before pressing "done"

when "show floating thumbnail" is active, the recording will temporarily show up on the bottom right of your screen before being saved and moving to the chosen “save to” location. I have seen issues when others (and myself) that when interacting with the "floating thumbnail" it can cause the recording to disappear, never to be found again. that is why I personally ALWAYS leave "show floating thumbnail" disabled.

Steps to reproduce:

Open the screen recording feature (command + shift + 5)

2. Click "Options" and set the "Save To" place to "Desktop"

3. Select "Record Selected Portion"

4. Record for at least 5 seconds, then stop the recording

5. Click the image that pops up in the bottom right and attempt to share to "messages"

6. The image will not render in the messages app, and the screen recording preview will disappear. Moreover, the video will not save to your desktop.
