Why has Apple has become so user unfriendly?

Apple was once user friendly, what happened? Who is the windows user that was put in charge at Apple who thinks it's a good idea to force auto features that no one wants upon their users? Ie. Apple music autoplay and Pages. The bulk of my time working in Pages is spent undoing every auto format. Let the user enable the features we want rather than force us to try to figure out if it's even possible to disable them. Furthermore, who on earth would intentionally hide or make it so difficult to stop auto play in apple music? My final solution was to remove the apple music app all together. I miss the old user friendly Apple when everything just made sense. Default features were as simple and user friendly as can be yet advanced features could easily be enabled if needed. Why has Apple has become so user unfriendly?
