How to fix Macbook Pro m1 2020 keyboard

Hello my macbook pro is stuck at the login screen. When I go to type letters it types it in capital letters without the cap lock is being on and when I type numbers instead of numbers its the symbols. I dont know anything else to do! How much would a keyboard repair cost or could this be fixed?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.1

If you are unable to log in:

Do you have an icon on the menubar to select the keyboard layout? If so, change to the proper keyboard layout.

Boot into recovery mode and launch the Terminal app from the Utilities menu on the menu bar. Execute the following command to clear the NVRAM settings:

nvram -c

You may see an error about the computer name, but that is Ok since that information cannot be cleared from the NVRAM. Reboot normally to see if you can now get the correct characters.

Maybe try booting into Safe Mode. If Safe Mode works, then some third party software is most likely interfering.
