How to remove managed networks.

There are 2 managed networks that I can’t remove.

I did reset network settings, erase all content settings and reinstall the iphone. However, those two networks still in my iphone.

I don’t have any profiles in VPN & Device Management.

Those 2 networks won’t be disappeared after I do resettings.

Does the managed networks stored on icloud?

Please advise the technique to remove those 2 networks. Thanks.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 17

The screenshot is very helpful. Those do appear from a cellular provider without a way to remove them. It is possible that your current cellular provider still uses those networks. For example, since Mint mobile uses T-Mobile towers, those customers will see "t-mobile" and possibly "TmobileWingman" as Managed Networks. They seem to be linked to the SIM card and go away if the SIM card is removed.

By tapping the info buttons there is an option to shut off Auto-Join, but some users claim that the option will turn back on. Sorry I do not have a useful explanation for why they show up and why you cannot delete them, so maybe another user will be able to provide more insight.

I can say that they are not unusual and would be interested to know what Managed Networks are found with other cellular providers when they go to Settings > Wifi > Edit. I can confirm that with my T-Mobile provider, I have "t-mobile" and "TMobileWingMan" listed as Managed Networks.

Contact your IT administrator or MDM provider to obtain the latest MDM profile.

  1. Is this your corporate iPhone? Then please contact the system administrator of your corporate
  2. If it is your personal device, in that case, do you have any profile installed by your corporate/organisation/enterprise/School Management?
    1. Erase the profile added by you If you have installed a profile on your own --> Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple ...
    2. Or please contact the system administrator of the organisation who provided the profile to you
  3. If you want to turn on SSL trust for that certificate, go to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings. Under "Enable full trust for root certificates," turn on trust for the certificate. Apple recommends deploying certificates via Apple Configurator or Mobile Device Management (MDM). --> Trust manually installed certificate profiles in iOS and iPadOS ...

It’s a personal iphone. No configuration profiles installed in my iphone.

There is no corporate/organisation/enterprise/school management data or profiles.

Those managed network seems like the mobile provider wifi hotspot network which I never joined.

Those network come with the previous mobile provider.

However, It still exists after I moved into another mobile provider.

A Screenshot of the profiles along with where you are seeing them would be helpful.

Did you purchase the iPhone new or is it a used phone?

Is the previous mobile provider one that you had or someone else?
