Voice dictation iPhone - 'new paragraph' no longer working but the words are being typed!

In iOS Version 17.4 iPhone 15 Pro Max. I use voice dictation a lot. I use the instruction 'New Paragraph' and it would drop a couple of lines.

Now, Since my last update, the instruction 'New Paragraph' it actually types out the words 'new paragraph'!

The instruction 'New Line' still works, and I can of course say that twice to get a new paragraph, but it’s extremely inconvenient.

Need this corrected if possible - so use to using the 'new paragraph' instruction, for emails and messages

Now, it literally types the words “new paragraph” in the text.

can someone help? Have tried rebooting my phone, but to no avail.
