I have a Samsung T7 2TB (ExFat formated). the hard drive was working fine with an USB-C cable until I updated to Sonoma. since the Hard drive will not mount with USB-C cable but will mount and work fine if I use an USB-C to USB-A cable thru a USB A hub weird. I try a lot possible nothing works.

exFAT might have teething problems in Sonoma, so I'd use it only if absolutely necessary (or use it in minimal scale with good backups). If cross-platform support is crucial then maybe some 3rd part NTFS add-on might be better (sorry, no personal experience to recommend some vendor).
The T7 comes embedded with upgraded software for PCs and Macs to help you set up a password and get the latest firmware updates.

Remove the USB Hub and try again
So thru my USB-A hub connection since its working fine, I was able to run a Disk Utility / First Aid on the T7.
After plug it back via UBB-C it work once but after I ejected the disk and plug it back in it fail to mount again....
Check with Samsung for any Firmware Updates for this Samsung T7 Drive
Personally us all my External Rotational Drive in HFS Journaled / GUID and all External SSD Drives in APFS / GUID
Some over USB-A to USB-C with an adapter and others Direct USB-C to USB-C cabled
All work just fine

Your snapshot shows that Disk Utility failed when you ran it on that drive. There may be something wrong with that drive.
I have a Macbook Air M1 with only USB-C Port:
If I use USC-C to USB-C cable its not working but if I use USC-C to USC-A cable to connect to an USB-A hub plug to the USC-C port its working so weird...
