Canon Pixma MG5300 Series Double Sided Printing

Recently I upgraded my iMac operating system from OS Mojave to OS Ventura (Version 13.6.4), I run Microsoft Office 2021 Home & Student on the iMac and I use a Canon Pixma MG5340 printer with double sided printing capability.

The double sided printing worked perfectly using OS Mojave/Office 2016 Home & Student, but even when selecting Double Sided Printing in the Print Command Box using OS Ventura/Office 2021 Home & Student, the output is printed on 2 separate pages instead of on both sides of the paper.

Can someone please guide me so my Printer prints double sided correctly.

Yes the the double-sided print option is greyed out.

As stated in my original post, double sided printing worked perfectly using OS Mojave/Office Home & Student 2016, but on selecting double sided printing using OS Ventura/Office Home & Student 2021, the output from an Excel single page document prints on 2 separate sheets of paper instead of on both sides of 1 sheet, this after changing the number of copies from 1 to 2 (as I used to do before the upgrading my operating and Office software).

I also tried copying the text for printing under the original text and selected the print range to include both sets of text, but the double sided print option is greyed out - please see screenshot below.

When printing from a Word document or any other source the double sided print option is available, but when printing an Excel document this button is still greyed out.

Perhaps there is some printer setting, other than in the print dialog box, that can be customised?
