Can't remove two Home Screen bookmarks

(Former) company forced policy that added a couple of bookmarks to my company iPhone. I retired, got a new phone. There's no longer an active policy but old Home Screen bookmarks still remain after restoring from backup. When I attempt to Edit Home Screen the icons jiggle but there's no - (minus) to remove them. Long press the only options are Share and Edit Home Screen. These are Microsoft Edge bookmarks that point to company intranet web pages. I'd really like to remove them but so far I haven't found any way to override whatever the !@#$ programming MSFT Edge or InTune Team did to create these bookmarks in the first place.

The policy was removed before I transferred old phone to new (technically it wasn’t from a back up, I did the transfer option when setting up the new phone). When the policy was removed, all corporate apps were removed. These two bookmarks are the only artifact. Asking me to start over via factory reset would be a tremendous undertaking and time sink that I should not have to do because of a bug.  Is there no way to force a bookmark to be deleted? If not this is something Apple should provide. The bug is either with the Microsoft developers or the Apple developers. Either way one of the two should provide a solution.
