Disappearing text messages to a contact.

One of my contacts had “me” before her name in the contact App. It’s no longer there but in text messaging her picture comes and goes and her text messages disappear as soon as I open them I’ve been working with Apple a long time but no resolution???

How to prevent text messages from disappearing for a specific contact on iPhone? Problem with contact name showing instead if my name when sending text When I text my friends/ family… one of my contact names comes up as if they sent the text-… not my name!

Check Settings > Contacts > My Info.
